1). Explore Centennial Park & The Parthenon 

Centennial Park is located just a couple miles from downtown Nashville, and offers one of the most spacious and scenic green spaces in the city! Not only is it a beautiful place to take a stroll in the spring, but there is plenty to learn while you are there. Perhaps the most iconic feature in Centennial Park is the iconic Parthenon. According to the official website, “The Parthenon in Nashville is the world’s only exact-size and detailed replica of the original temple in Athens, Greece.”

2). Discover Cheekwood Estate & Gardens

Cheekwood features an impressive 55 acres to explore, which includes a botanical garden, arboretum, and museum. There is a 1.5 mile sculptural walking trail, and 13 different gardens to explore. Perfect for a spring outing!

3). Attend the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival

The Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival takes place on Apr 12, 2025 in Public Square Park, which is in downtown Nashville right in front of the Nashville Metropolitan Court House.The festival will feature performances from singers, dancers, martial artists, and more! There will be food and craft vendors as well.

4). Hike at Radnor Lake State Park

Radnor Lake State Park is one of the best places to hike in the Nashville area. With 7.75 miles of hiking trails, Radnor offers scenic views and photo-ops. Keep an eye out for our local wildlife, like owls, herons, mink, and otters!

5). Stroll the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge

You can’t visit Music City without taking a walk across the Pedestrian Bridge! The bridge offers easy access from downtown Nashville to Nissan Stadium. Folks will oftentimes stop for a drink or meal downtown before making their way across the bridge to catch a Tennessee Titans game or a concert at the stadium. Day or night, the pedestrian bridge offers some of the best views of Nashville.

8). Visit the Grand Ole Opry

9). Experience Live Music on Broadway

Who are we kidding, you were already planning to spend some time on Broadway, weren’t you? Broadway is the number one tourist destination for live music, honky tonks, and all that is Nashville. When people talk about “doing Broadway,” they are referring to the roughly ⅓ of a mile stretch that goes from the Cumberland River to Bridgestone Arena. The Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival takes place March 25-28, 2025. The festival has been running strong for 33 years, and it is a great way to check out some of the best songwriters in the area. The festival takes place in multiple venues throughout the city, like 3rd & Lindsley, the Bluebird Cafe, and The Listening Room. 

11). See a Concert at Ascend Amphitheater

Ascend Amphitheater is the perfect place to take in a spring concert! The venue sits right next to the Cumberland River, right next to downtown Nashville. The spring 2025 schedule includes artists like Cake, Widespread Panic, Halsey, and a May 4th concert with the Nashville Symphony playing the music of Star Wars!
